I grew up free spirited and lived in the moment. I played a lot of sports, and was always under the sun. I didn't pick up anime until my late 20s. I spent a lot of time in the barracks eating ramen and enjoying my favorites.
My Journey as a Developer
After serving in Japan, I really wanted to go back and learn Japanese. I got accepted into Temple University-Tokyo, but the pandemic had other plans for me. While waiting for the borders to reopen, I took up Javascript and eventually attended a bootcamp for full-stack development.
The Covid variant quickly reclosed the borders. I had to make a move. I switched to Temple University-Philadelphia and took up a degree in Computer Science. I learned how to program in C and Java. In my senior year, I got an internship and have been working profess since.
